Meal Allowance - $120/$150 per student
Meals are not included in the tour package. The goal is to eat very informal and inexpensive. Students should plan on spending money for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and meals on the road. There is consideration for one of the add-on dining options provided by WorldStrides @$25 a person.
Other Expenses - $60/$100 per student
In addition to the tour package activities, there will be time for fun, culture, sightseeing and recreation. Some outings such as walking the Brooklyn Bridge or enjoying Central Park will be absolutely free. Admission to most of the museums ranges from $9 to $20 for students. If your student intends to shop, please budget for that as well.
